| Description | Maria tells the story of the Tukanoan patron who gave many things to one Dâw man. One day this Dâw man went to the house of the Tukanoan patron and finds a fruit on his way. He climbs up the tree to gather this fruit and when he returns to the ground a jaguar eats him. That Dâw man turns into a jaguar and returns to his community where he appears as a Dâw man again. His family flees from him to the house of the brother in law. There, the Dâw man-jaguar already waits for them. Then they poison him with honey. |
