| Description | They explain the reason for the name of the village Xolcuay. In the past, the houses were a great distance apart. Sometimes it took fifteen minutes or it took half an hour. When they named it Xolcuay it was because people stored their corn in their granaries. Everyone had granaries, and it is for that reason they named the town "In the Midst of the Granaries,” because the grandparents used the granary to store their corn in the past. |
