DescriptionThis bundle consist of twelve texts of various themes: 1) the life of couples before, the work of the Community Guard or 'Topiles' in the stewardship festivals, 2) Juan describes the steward's festival, the role of topiles and the type of traditional clothing people used to wear, 3) life of the community ancestors, 4) more about community ancestors, the husbandry festival and the role of the topiles; Juan discusses a little bit about the kind of hats men used to wear, 5) more discussion about the stewardship festival and the use of tepache that was drank during these gatherings, 6) a discussion about the way people would resolve community conflicts, how people would participate in this process and how it was when Juan Velasco was a topil himself, 7) the role of the Community President in resolving conflict and how he interacted with his political body, 8) discussion of the resolution of land disputes before, 9) discussion about conflict resolution and how people ought to live well, 10) an autobiographical note and advice for today's youth, 11) advice for young people, 12) Reginaldo gives thanks to Juan Velasco for sharing his knowledge; Juan gives more advice for young people.
