Description | Alan Spafford was a student of Terrence Kaufman (TK) at the University of Pittsburgh. He undertook to do this research as a project for a class using the book "A Comparative Study of Yuman Consonantism" (1968, De Gruyter press) by Alan Campbell Wares. The data are ordered by semantic domain. Terrence Kaufman worked on Hokan languages mainly during the 1980s, though he started his research in the 1970s.
