| Description | This is an interview conducted with Sra. María Pérez Juárez, in Tenango, municipalilty of Ocosingo. The recording was made with the intention of documenting knowledge concerning the process of making pitchers, because the people of this town used to be known as 'chon k'ibetik' (pitcher sellers). Also, we hear about the economic activity that used to be conducted, which was the exchange that was realized by this. (?) Also mentioned are some other activities which used to take place and what has replaced them in the present day. |
