Description | Saila Gonzalo Salcedo was conversing in his home with James Howe when a neighbor arrived to ask him to "admonish" a cup of cacao to be used in a cure for a child who had been scared by a dog. Sr. Salcedo agreed to record the chanted admonishment while he performed it, holding a small cassette recorder in his lap. (Archived in CUK019R001.) A few minutes later, another person showed up to ask Sr. Salcedo to admonish some medicine to be used in a cure. This ina unaet is recorded here. |
